About IRASA Conference & Workshop Series ( )


After successful organizing of several international conferences and workshops such as last three fruitful international conferences  STSD2014, STSD2015 and STSD2016 (Science and Technologies for Sustainable Development in Iran) at FU-Berlin, and TU-Berlin, with more than 500 participants from about 50 German and Iranian universities, research institutes and organizations,  IRASA-DAAD joint scientific workshop at University of Tehran (May 2015) with more than 400 Participants from 20 top universities in Iran and Joint IRASA-DFG workshop on May 2016 at Freie Universität, in this workshop at University of Tehran  we are going to discuss about “Research and Technology Management in Iran and Germany" from different point of view "Fundamental &  Applied, Academic & Industrial Perspectives” in cooperation with our invited guests and representatives of BMBF, MSRT, DFG, DAAD, NRI, Amirkabir University of Technology and Sharif University of Technology.

Brief Introduction to IRASA ( )

Iranian Academics and Specialists Association in Germany (IRASA) as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) has been established (initiated Aug 2011, registered officially in Berlin Feb. 2013) for the purpose of international scientific, industrial and cultural cooperation, student and scientist exchanges and joint research works, considering universal valuable human's right via supports of Iranian professors, researchers and students in Germany and their German colleagues, and also former guest scientists and graduated students from German universities and institutes (mostly from Max Planck and Fraunhofer Institutes and Universities of Berlin, Potsdam, Göttingen, Aachen, Dresden, etc and also Universities of Tehran, Sharif, Amirkabir, Shiraz, Ahvaz, Zanjan, etc in Iran). With about 200 official members (mostly Professors, Group Leaders, Postdocs and Ph.D. Candidates) and more than 1000 affiliated co-members and collaborators from more than 50 German and Iranian Universities, scientific organizations and research institutes, IRASA plays an important role as a pioneer for scientific international cooperation between Iran and Germany.



1- This professional international workshop is more relevant for Directors of Research Affairs, Innovation, International Cooperation, Professors, Group Leaders, R &D and Project Managers, PostDocs and Ph.D. students. However Limited number of M.Sc. and B.Sc. 2- The registration fee is 800,000 Rial, however is free of charge for professors, faculty members, research & academic staff of the universities, and also reduced 70 % for the selected students.

The late registration after 20th October, may need extra confirmation according to the available space and capacity.
